Child and Adolescent Therapy

Therapy for Children, Adolescents & Parenting Support

As a parent, you want the very best for your child, but parenting doesn’t come with a manual. Whether you’re facing daily power struggles, emotional outbursts, or challenges with school and peer relationships, you are not alone. I offer therapy for children and support for parents to help navigate the ups and downs of each stage of development with greater confidence and clarity.

Early Childhood Concerns
The early years are filled with big feelings in small bodies. Tantrums, separation anxiety, sleep difficulties, and trouble with transitions are common, but these can leave parents feeling overwhelmed. I work closely with families to build healthy routines, manage challenging behaviors, and strengthen emotional connection between parent and child.

Elementary-Age Challenges
As children enter school, new concerns may emerge, such as academic pressures, attention or focus issues, social struggles, and behavioral outbursts. Some children may have difficulty following rules or experience anxiety that interferes with learning. Therapy can help children develop emotional regulation skills, problem-solving tools, and a stronger sense of self.

Tweens and Early Teens
This tween and early teens stage often brings shifts in mood, increased sensitivity, and a desire for independence. It can be hard for parents to know how to stay connected while giving their child space. I help children and parents navigate changing dynamics at home and school, address low self-esteem, screen-time battles, anxiety, or early signs of depression, and promote open communication.

Parenting Support at Every Stage
Parenting is one of the most meaningful—and challenging—roles we take on. I offer guidance to help parents understand their child’s behavior, set appropriate limits, support emotional growth, and respond in ways that build trust and resilience. Whether you’re navigating a diagnosis, co-parenting after separation, or simply want more peace at home, I’m here to support you.

Therapy with children often involves collaboration with parents and caregivers. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies that work in real life and nurture your child’s emotional well-being for the long term.
